The kit also includes some plastic containers for application of products but they proved needless for me. The results will be noticeable right after using the kit, and they last from 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the amount of applied products and the thickness of your eyebrows.
An extra benefit of this brow lamination kit is you get pads for nurturing the under-eye skin – they aren’t necessary for doing the lamination, but they definitely make the process nicer. The popular brow lamination kit will help you do brow lamination at home and enjoy professional results. I must mention that the information on the official producer’s site says it’s a product for professionals.
My comment: I don’t recommend it for beginners! It’s a brow kit for professionals and it lasts for around 15 laminations which is the reason why it has such a high price.
#3 Thuya Brow Lamination Kit
With this kit, we can both laminate and tint our eyebrows so they have a nice shape as well as lovely color. There’s a catch, though: this brow lamination kit doesn’t contain any tint colors but graphite… If you want a different color, then you will need to buy an extra tint 🙁 The set includes a glass container and a brush to mix the dye before applying it on hairs. The products from the Thuya Brow Lamination Kit are also suitable for eyelash lift to give lashes a curl. However, as stated by the producer on the official site, you will need to buy extra glue and eyelash rolls.
It is an easy-to-use brow lamination kit that doesn’t require any expert knowledge or experience in eyebrow styling.
My comment: Compared to other brow lamination kits, the products from Thuya take more time to produce effects (around 15 minutes) so the process, without tinting, may take over an hour even if you are experienced in laminating eyebrows.
#4 Iconsign Brow Lamination Kit
The Iconsign Brow Lamination Kit enables us to do the treatment easily and comfortably at home. Using it, you can get beautiful, defined eyebrows that keep the desired shape for many weeks. The kit is easy to use and includes products that are safe for the skin and eyebrow hairs. It is recommended for sensitive skin and redness-prone complexions. The great thing about this brow kit is the added nutrient-rich oil that we can apply after the lamination (however, I used pure argan oil by Nanoil instead because that’s what I’ve been using for a long time). It helps maintain effects after lamination for longer and prevents dryness or damage of hairs… It’s like a cherry on top of DIY brow lamination – eyebrows have lovely shine once you apply oil.
Too bad the included combs in the shape of letter “Y” didn’t work for me – I like classic brushes, easier to operate, they evenly distribute the glue and laminating products.
My comment: Despite a slightly lower price of the kit, it is enough for only 6 laminations done on fine brow hair. If you have thick and stiff eyebrows, then it may be 4 or 5 laminations.
#5 Sassy Saint Brow Lamination Kit
I like this brow lamination kit for its simple design and the beautiful beige color. The product looks minimalist yet it includes everything that’s essential for eyebrow lift: preparations and brushes plus an extra conditioner and styling product. I definitely like the added conditioning serum (“Boost It”) that we can use after lamination to give brows a nice, healthy shine – I couldn’t find the ingredient list on the Internet so I’m not sure about its effectiveness. I noticed it made my brows slightly softer. The results lasted for 3 or 4 weeks.
Following the producer’s instructions, for one lamination I used as many as 9 different disposable accessories…. Isn’t that a bit too much?
My comment: The Sassy Saint kit contains an extra eyebrow conditioner which can be used daily. This is one of the priciest brow kits on the market and it is enough for 6 treatments, which may be a downside for many of you.
