Ranking of DIY Lash Extension Kits. Which Cluster Lashes I Recommend Wholeheartedly?

DIY lash extensions are a relatively new product on the market, and it may be difficult to find reliable information about them online. For this reason, I decided to test several sets from famous brands and create my own ranking. I hope that my experiences will help you choose the perfect cluster lashes for self-application. I have tested many lash extension kits for home use, which allowed me to create a comprehensive comparison. In my ranking, I consider such aspects as the number of lash clusters in the kit, the differences between various products, and the simplicity of application.

My opinions are subjective and based on my preferences. I was looking for an eyelash extension kit that would highlight my natural lashes without looking false. I like makeup that is subtle and as natural as possible.

Ranking of DIY lash extension kits – what did I consider?

Another key factor for me was the application time. I didn’t want to spend more than a dozen minutes applying the cluster lashes. In my ranking, there are six ready-to-use kits for DIY eyelash extensions. Before buying each of them, I checked the reviews of previous users, which were usually positive. My own experience with most of these kits was also good, so I can recommend a few of them wholeheartedly.

When choosing the kits, I paid attention to various factors, such as the number of the lashes inside, the availability of necessary accessories (such as a bonder, a sealer, an an applicator, and a remover) and the overall quality of the products. Each of the kits I tested had its unique features that could meet different needs.

When testing each kit, I focused on a few key factors. Firstly, the number of cluster lashes in the kit was important, as the more lashes you get, the more applications you can perform. Secondly, the quality of the clusters – their softness, natural look, and durability. Thirdly, the simplicity of application and the time it takes to apply the cluster lashes. Finally, the additional accessories, such as an applicator, a bonder, a sealer, and a remover, which make the whole process much easier. Which eyelash extension kits have I tested and what are my thoughts about them?

1. NANOLASH DIY EYELASH EXTENSIONS Starter Kit

The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit took first place in my ranking. As someone familiar with the Nanolash brand, I was very excited to test this product.

The kit contains 36 cluster lashes, a bonder, a sealer, a remover, and an applicator. The lash clusters are available in three lengths: 10 mm, 12 mm, and 14 mm, which is perfect for women who like the cat eye effect. In addition, the lashes come in eight different styles, giving you the opportunity to customize them to your preferences. The only downside was that I had a hard time deciding which lash style to choose, as they were all very appealing.

Applying the cluster lashes from this set was extremely easy and hassle-free. The included applicator allowed me to place the lash clusters precisely, and the consistency of the glue was perfect. The entire application process took me less than 10 minutes, which is a huge plus for those who appreciate fast and efficient solutions. The cluster lashes stayed on my real lashes for 7 days, which is an impressive result.

From the moment I opened the kit, it was clear that this was a high-quality product. The cluster lashes were soft and their natural look added to the beauty of my gaze. The bonder and sealer kept the false lashes in place effectively, and the remover enabled removing the clusters easily without damaging the natural lashes. The entire kit was designed with comfort in mind, which made the application a pleasure.

While testing various eyelash extension kits, I noticed that not all products were as easy to use and effective. The Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit stood out from the rest due to the simple application and long-lasting effect. My eyelashes looked beautiful for a full week, which made me feel more confident and happy with my appearance.

2. KISS Falscara Starter Kit

After testing the kit from Nanolash, I decided to reach for a set from the Kiss range. I also know the brand well and appreciate the quality of the products it offers. The Falscara Starter Kit contains only 10 cluster lashes, which means that I used up the entire kit for just one lash look. In this regard, Nanolash performs better, as I was able to enjoy the lashes for much longer.

The kit from Kiss includes BOND, SEAL, and an applicator. Unfortunately, there was no remover, which is a big minus for me. However, applying the cluster lashes was effortless, mainly due to the included applicator and the softness of the lashes. Thanks to these features, the clusters adhered easily to my natural lashes, which made the whole experience quick and convenient.

Despite the lack of a remover, which is an important part of any lash extension kit, the Falscara Starter Kit has its advantages. The softness of the lashes and their natural look made the final result satisfactory. The false lashes lasted well throughout the day, and applying them was not difficult.

The Kiss Falscara Starter Kit, despite some drawbacks, is good for anyone looking for a quick and easy solution. The quality of the cluster lashes and the easy application are its big selling points. However, if you are looking for something that will last for more than one application, you should consider kits with more lash clusters inside.

3. Tatti Lashes Invisi-Lash Kit

The Tatti Lashes brand also provides a kit for do-it-yourself lash extensions, known as the Invisi-Lash Kit. Tatti Lashes allows you to choose from a variety of lash styles, and the lashes come in either black or clear strips. For my test, I opted for the kit with Au Natural lashes on black strips for a more subtle effect.

The kit also included Invisi-Lash Bond, Seal Glue, a pink brush, and an applicator. Unfortunately, as with the Falscara Starter Kit from KISS, the kit also lacked a remover, which is a bit of a drawback. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that only selected brands include a remover in their starter kits.

I found applying the cluster lashes from the Tatti Lashes kit quite easy and enjoyable. Thanks to the well-designed applicator, the clusters could be applied precisely to the lashes. A big plus of this kit was that the starter pack lasted for seven applications, which is very economical and practical.

Each application was quick and didn’t cause any major problems. The cluster lashes from Tatti Lashes are made of high-quality materials, which makes them look natural and aesthetically pleasing. Despite the lack of a remover, I liked this set for its functionality and effectiveness.

4. Lilac St Intro Starter Kit

The next kit I had the opportunity to test is a product from the famous Lilac St. The Intro Starter Kit contains 30 cluster lashes in three different lengths: 10 mm, 12 mm, and 14 mm. The kit also includes Lilac Lash Glue in Clear, Crystal Coat, and a Lilac Lash Applicator, making it almost a complete kit for DIY at-home lash extensions.

Even at first glance, the contents of the kit from Lilac St looked very promising. The large number of cluster lashes enables multiple applications, which is a huge plus, especially for people who apply lash extensions regularly. The included formulas, such as Lilac Lash Glue in Clear and Crystal Coat, have good texture, which facilitates the application process. The Lilac Lash Applicator is designed to help you attach the cluster lashes to your real lashes with maximum precision.

The lash clusters are extremely soft and delicate. They feature a thin base that is almost invisible when applied, which adds to their natural look. This provides a subtle yet expressive final effect. The clusters stayed on my lashes for a full five days, which proves their durability and high quality.

Unfortunately, as with the other sets, there was no remover here either. This is a bit of a drawback, as the lack of this product can make the process of removing the lashes difficult. Despite this minor shortcoming, the Lilac St Intro Starter Kit is one of the better products on the market.

5. Lashify Starter Kit

Among the lash extension kits from established and respected brands, I could not leave out the Lashify Starter Kit. The Lashify brand has a very good reputation, although its products are often more expensive than average. The Lashify Starter Kit also falls into this price range, which caused my mixed feelings before testing it.

However, I decided to see for myself if the high price goes hand in hand with quality. The lashes from Lashify are extremely soft and look very elegant both in the case and on the lashes. Their application turned out to be quick and easy, which definitely speaks in favor of this kit.

Unfortunately, there are only 10 cluster lashes in the kit, which means that there are enough for just a single lash look. Nevertheless, I kept the lash clusters on my lashes for five days, which proves their high quality and durability. Their natural look and comfort of wearing also deserve to be praised. However, the limited number of cluster lashes in the set makes the price seem exorbitant, especially when you consider how many applications you can perform.

6. Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit

The Glamnetic Lash Extension Kit, just like the kit from Nanolash, includes cluster lashes, basic products such as a bonder and a sealer, as well as an applicator and a remover. I was positively surprised by the kit from the start. What’s more, the Glamnetic brand provides different styles of lashes, allowing you to create different looks to match your individual needs and preferences.

While testing the kit, unfortunately, I noticed that the cluster lashes do not look as natural as I expected. Other users also pointed this out in their reviews. The clusters do not mimic natural eyelashes well, which makes it difficult to create a really good makeup effect with them. Despite this, the application was quite quick and hassle-free, which is a definite plus for this kit.

The manufacturer assures that the lashes can stay on the eyes for up to five days. In my case, I took them off earlier, as their not very natural look made me feel uncomfortable wearing them. Although the durability was in line with the manufacturer’s claims, the aesthetics of the final result left much to be desired.

Lash extension kit review – conclusions

It took me quite a while to test six lash extension kits, but thanks to this, I can now share some reliable information with you about the products available on the market. Analyzing each kit allowed me to evaluate its quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness, which can help you decide which lash extension kit is best for you.

After testing all the kits, I found that the Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions Starter Kit stands out as the best value for money. The cluster lashes are made of high quality materials, and the included products are effective and easy to use. The application was quick and hassle-free, and the clusters stayed on my lashes for a long time. I’m sure I will reach for this kit more than once, as it met all my expectations.

The false lashes from Lashify also impressed me in terms of quality and final effect. Unfortunately, their price is much higher compared to other kits, which may discourage you from using them regularly.

Remember, however, that my opinion of the tested kits is subjective. Everyone has different needs and preferences, so it’s worth testing different products yourself to find the perfect one. Choosing the best lash extension kit depends on your individual expectations, budget, and experience in applying cluster lashes.
