Do you ever think about securing your hair during blow-drying? You probably know that heat causes the loss of moisture leading to dryness, breakage and splitting. To avoid that, we can use thermal protection sprays. In today’s post, I recommend the best products. Read on!
What’s a good way to protect hair from thermal damage?
Let me share it. Preferably, you should get a multitasking spray which not only protects from heat but also:
- has a softening and nourishing effect
- delivers smoothness
- adds shine
- leaves the hair easy to comb out
- tames frizz, stops static and prevents dryness
- eases hair styling routine
Best Heat Protectant Hair Sprays – List of My Favourites
The best heat protectant I’ve used lets my hair stay healthy and damage-proof. Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray defends from temps. reaching 220 degrees Celsius, plus has a deeply nourishing and beautifying effect because it’s packed with silk proteins. I love to run my fingers through the hair after blow-drying – Nanoil leaves it silky smooth, bouncy and feeling extremely soft. The price, scent and cost-effectiveness make the product excel as well. Overall, I highly recommend it!
Kevin Murphy Ever Smooth Spray
All those who’ve got thin and fragile hair which tends to rebel and go frizzy will like Kevin Murphy Ever Smooth Spray. It helped me tame my flyaways. The product prevents tangling after washing and leaves the strands nicer, smoother and softer. It’s a good heat protectant but it’s costly and quite small. Kevin Murphy is known for extraordinary cosmetic ingredients and this spray is rich in active polymers, white and blue cypress extract and aspen lemon extract. It’s a secret to beautiful and damage-proof hair.
Balmain Thermal Protection Spray
Even though this spray contains oils, it does quite well on fine hair. The high price is what I don’t like about it, especially given the product is used up quickly. However, the effects deserve applause! I liked to use it in the winter and fall when my hair would get static or frizzy. This spray handled it!
L’Oréal Elseve Dream Lengths Heat Slayer Spray
I guess you may be surprised by this one – it’s a completely different price shelf than the previous two products. I didn’t want to put only expensive cosmetics on the list. L’Oréal Elseve Dream Lengths Heat Slayer Spray has a good price and produces good effects. It doesn’t nourish the hair but it’s rich in castor oil which stops hair color fading. However, thermal protection is its main job, and it’s also quite good for preventing frizz.
Do you know any other recommendable heat protectant sprays? Have you tried any products from my list? Post a comment. Have a good one! <3
