Makeup removal with Yves Rocher: What products should you consider buying?

Hey!

Today is the day for 4 reviews of products that were launched by just one brand. I noticed that you keep asking questions like “Which micellar lotion by Yves Rocher to choose?” Luckily, I know the exact answer because recently I’ve got tempted by 1+1 face care offer. Because I always run out of my face cleansing and washing products the fastest, this time I chose the very cosmetics. Today, I’m going to tell you this and that about 4 micellar products by Yves Rocher. Find out which one will become your favorite. Let’s start!

Repair + Anti-Pollution Cleansing Micellar Water

Smog, toxins and nasty air of big cities is a true nightmare of our times. How to handle these micro-enemies of our skin? Yves Rocher found a hyper-cool substance, which is a overconcentrated Aphloia extract. It’s responsible for counteracting the factors that accelerate skin ageing (e.g. urban pollution, UV rays, stress and fatigue). This micellar water doesn’t only remove colour cosmetics from face but also improves skin’s ability to rebuild itself and protect itself against pollution. In general, this face wash detoxifies, deeply cleanses and catches all impurities to throw them away. Additionally, it replenishes skin with water. Sounds good, right? I give this product a massive plus. As much as I was eager to give it a try, I was also a little bit put off by the word ‘detox.’ I was a little bit afraid that this water/gel would force all blemishes out, so pimple parade would follow. Luckily, this bad scenario wasn’t the case this time. Instead, my face was made clean. Last but not least, this cosmetic was tested by dermatologists and ophthalmologists.

Sensitive Végétal series, Soothing Micellar Water 2 in 1

It’s said to be the best cleansing product for sensitive skin. To me, Soothing Micellar Water 2 in 1 is a true genius, perfectly suitable to clean all skin types, including oily and couperose.

I guess you all know that washing face with harsh cleansers might leave your skin irritated. This soothing micellar water helps you thoroughly remove makeup and sebum without leaving your skin tight. It doesn’t only cleanse skin but also tones it. This facilitates rebuilding the natural hydro-lipid barrier of epidermis and simply leaves skin soothed, relaxed and clean. My face is rather oily and I could see that both (my skin and Soothing Micellar Water) play in tune just flawlessly. I also have to add that this Soothing Micellar Water makes my face feel fresh, it reduces skin pores and I literally can feel how smooth my face is when I wipe it with a cotton pad soaked with the solution.

A huge plus is the alcohol-free formula. This cosmetic gently restores natural protective coat of skin and balances the skin’s pH. Another positive aspect concerning the composition, in 93% this Soothing Micellar Water Sensitive Végétal is made from natural origin substances. For example, you can find here sigesbeckia orientalis leaf extract, which is also known as either Eastern St. Paul’s Wort Extract or Common St. Paul’s Wort Extract. Great, right? 🙂 The very extract belongs to the group of antioxidants and is anti-inflammatory. It soothes irritations and speeds up skin self-healing processes during for example curing acne. If I was to complain about something, I’d say that I don’t like the fact that this great ingredient is placed at the end of the ingredient list. To be honest, I’m not sure what ingredient is responsible for the positive effects the Soothing Micellar Water delivers. Anyway, Yves Rocher uses good and natural preservatives.

Hydra Végétal Hydrating Micellar Water 2-in-1 – Face and Eyes

There’s nothing more frustrating than poorly cleansed skin… okay, maybe except ultra dehydrated skin. In order to prevent this, I consider skin moisturizing as the regular constituent of acne-prone and oily skin care. Even makeup removal may be the starting point of proper skin hydration. Off the record: in the evening skin is contaminated by makeup residues, sebum, sweat, dirt or even exhaust fumes. And this is how it gets irritated so fast and develops imperfections. Moreover, poorly cleansed face can’t absorb all the nourishing substances you want to supply it with. This Hydra Végétal Hydrating Micellar Water – as the manufacturer promises – perfectly removes makeup, moisturizes and leaves skin flawless. Shall we test it?

This moisturizing cosmetic is a product that replaces both a toner and a makeup removing milk. Well, at first I wasn’t enthusiastic about it. I think that there’s nothing to replace a decent face toner therefore even when using a face gel, you should follow with a toner. I keep using rose or lavender water. Give them a go 🙂

Coming back to the Yves Rocher face cleanser, the substance responsible for skin conditioning is carpobrotus edulis. What’s that? This is a succulent native to South Africa. Its fruit looks like tiny bags and are edible. This plant found its application in medicine and beauty industry. The juice extracted from this plant is beneficial for skin. It soothes and helps cure when skin has cuts, is inflamed and burnt by sun. When combined with other constituents, Hydra Végétal Hydrating Micellar Water 2-in-1 is really good at taking care of skin, prevents dehydration and water loss, and it effectively removes makeup.

Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Micellar Cleansing Oil

Delicate face skin requires being given gentle care. In my opinion, every skin type requires special care and none likes being exposed to harsh makeup removal. Therefore, daily face removal should be carried out both effectively and safely. For that reason, Yves Rocher created Pure Calmille Micellar Cleansing Oil. I find it flawless since neither does this product overburden skin nor leaves it a greasy layer. Instead, it leaves skin incredibly clean – it deals with waterproof makeup too. Of course, chamomile extract will soothe your irritated skin.

I assume that many of you don’t consider chamomile as a revelation. I know some people who believe that chamomile offers poor skin care and that it should be included only into baby care products. Well, chamomile turns out to be a source of many valuable nutrients including α–bisabolol that is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, choline essential for skin cells and natural antioxidants: flavonoids and phenolcarboxylic acids. This isn’t where the list of marvelous substances ends, no, no 🙂 Chamomile also contains B-group vitamins, especially B3 that prevents capillaries from enlarging. The vitamin C abundance is a weapon against free radicals that are responsible for accelerating skin ageing processes. Finally, I have to mention that chamomile protects and soothes skin therefore it’s highly recommended to those with sensitive skin, including allergy sufferers.

How to use Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Micellar Cleansing Oil?
